Home Course - Hole 9
This is the longest hole on the course at 427 yards all uphill and is rated the most difficult hole at Lightcliffe. The tee shot is crucial as if you are left or right of the fairway in the rough, there is a strong possibility you will be in trees and will not be able to reach the green.
Even a long drive on the left of the fairway could see you being blocked out by a large tree. If you hit your second (third?) left, there is another large tree just shot of the green and a bunker to contend with. The green is shared with the seventh, though it does not have the slopes or undulations of that, or any other green, on the course.
